Juli felt anxious for Giorno, though she tried her best not to let it show. And true enough, her words came out sounding unworried and confident. Because even though she was concerned for Giorno, she knew that if there were anyone in this world who could help Jojo, it was him.

Iris tucked a curly red strand of her back into her thick patterned hair wrap, humming loudly in thought.

"Well...that changes depending on the day. Right now? It's actually the schoolhouse." She leaned in with a smirk and clear blush on her cheeks. "I got some, um, really capable help recently. He took over for me today since I'd be showing you around...look, no matter how wild this place gets, there's no shortage of guys to look at. I swear."

"Oh? What's he like?" Yukari hadn't neglected to notice the wide array of attractive guys around. They were all pretty hard to miss.

"His name's Caesar. Tall. Muscular. Italian. So charming. If I never make it out of this place I'm gonna marry him." She said it easily, starting down the path to the schoolhouse with an extra spring in her step. "You know, that's the kinda nice thing about being here...a lot of young people. There weren't that many back home. Even the council is over half made of up other teenagers. You've met 'em all, right?"

"I met one of them. Zelda? I think that was her name." She seemed nice enough. "You'll have to introduce me to the others."

"Ah, yes. The Princess. ...It's not just a cute nickname. She's a literal princess. And, like, a crazy smart, too. This place was like totally 14th century before she started doing her thing. You're lucky you saw her first...she's pretty hard to pin down, especially lately. Unless you're Commander Shepard or Chilchuck, I guess...if I had to sum her up it's like a mad scientist thing." Iris squinted as they arrived into the open square. "Juli's the easiest one to run into. Seriously, I do it like five times a day without trying. She's one of the most approachable people here, bless her heart."

An actual princess. Wow. She knows she shouldn't be shocked by anything at this point, but she hadn't run into actual royalty until now.

"So are you actually friends with any of them?"

"Me?" Iris gestured at herself and laughed. "Nah."

"That emotionally distant?" Yukari asked.

"Well...kind of? It's not like they're not good people or anything, but...they're the types who carry the world on their shoulders, you know? Whenever I talk to one of them, it's like...hm...I dunno...I feel like I'm in the way or I'm gonna open my mouth and say something totally stupid." Iris sighed heavily. "Maybe that sounds insecure or whatever, but...that's just kinda how it is."

"I totally get it," Yukari reassured her. "I had this..." How would she describe her relationship with Mitsuru? "...colleague..." Teammate was weird, right? At least without knowing about SEES, anyway. And they definitely weren't friends, either. "...who was totally like that, too. It just made you want to avoid her."

"I'm not gonna lie, I'm glad you said that," Iris half-laughed and half-sighed in relief. "When I got pinged to room with someone new, I was worried I was gonna get stuck with someone totally unapproachable. But you seem pretty real."

"Thanks, I try to be." Yukari smiled. "It's just kind of a relief to find a place like this. I haven't been in whatever-this-is for long, but it hasn't exactly been a great time when you don't know anyone."

"I feel you. I didn't know one person when I stumbled here. Not. One. But now...well, I've got a pretty great group of girlies. They keep me sane. You're totally getting inducted. Oh! We're here."

Every time she looked at the schoolhouse she did like it a little more. It was rustic like everything else but it was made charmingly uneven by all the additions from the kids from the hanging ornaments to the paint and chalk drawings on the ground.

"...Ah. Hold on." The smirk returned as she peered in the window first. She motioned for Yukari to take a look before she went in--the sight she was referring to was clear. Caesar was inside with no less than five kids hanging off him and another good dozen circling around him trying to see if they could hitch a ride on his back. He hardly seemed winded or even bothered by the ordeal.

"Wow." That was about all Yukari could say to that. The guy was more muscular than Akihiko and he was about the most athletic person she knew. "How old do you think he is?"

“He’s twenty. He came here with another guy—also totally gorgeous.”

"But you like this one more?"

“I haven’t really gotten to know the other guy.” Iris waved her hand. “He’s been totally holed up with the founder—Giorno. I guess he’s sick or something.”

Huh. "Is Giorno taking care of him or something?"

“He’s doing something for him. He’s got a weird power…he basically built this place from scratch. Word is that when he showed up all the crops growing at a crazy rate and all this livestock popped up out of nowhere. He’s like…a high school Jesus or something. Heals the ill and water into wine and all that.” Iris shrugged deeply. “Oh, and this—some of the people here have swore they’ve seen a weird…humanoid ghost following him.”

“That’s what I thought, too! It sounds like that when you try and explain it, right!? I can’t see it or anything, but…it’s more like…a super power or something that he can summon at will.”
